...The first time they are out on a mission together, Sai was quick to realize that. And although it's more than slightly... odd to hear in the dead of night (as long as he's been in active duty, Kakashi's learned to sleep through most anything, he suspects and doesn't question the lack of action against it) he's more curious about the soft, uneven breathing radiating from Sakura's sleeping bag.

He'd have to remember to look this up later. Because the Root certainly did not prepare them for a situation like this.
