"Yes, that's right. We'll make a generous donation to the Festival committee,"Tenten said, using her most convincing upbeat tone, "It's the least we can do for the short notice."

"Alright then," came the man's satisfied response, "I'll be sure to inform everyone of your immediate arrival."

"Thank you. It was a pleasure doing business with you Mr. Matsuki. We'll see you soon." And with that, she clicked off the phone with an exhausted sigh, the fake smile plastered across her face disappearing in an instance. Negotiating was not an easy business, and usually one she tended to refrain from indulging in. But this was a necessary endeavor, big enough to bypass all reluctancies she felt towards the notion. The future of the hotel and everyone who currently resided within it was at stake. And as the head of security, it was her job to make sure they all survived this long enough for others to take care of the bomb.

Glancing over her shoulder for a quick second, she swerved around a blue Beetle, receiving a not so patient honk from the driver while speeding down the street towards the hotel. Last she checked,Tenten was doing sixty-five, thirty miles over the speed limit. Normally, the young woman was never one to go more than five or ten miles over the limit. Any run in with the law would place unwanted attention to the hotel. But Tenten decided to worry about that and the possibility of a ticket later, dialing the number of the security office of the hotel instead as she rounded another corner.

"Rising Sun Hotel Security, how may we help you?" a voice drawled out.

"Yamaki? It's me, Tenten. I need you to do something for me."

"Uh...sure thing." The voice on the other end crackled with static as he mumbled something under his breath. What it was, she could only guess at. And for the most part,Tenten could care less. Now was not the time to ask. "What is it?"

"There's a festival in the park just down the block from the hotel. Gather all the guests and escorts and take them there." And to the best of her ability, she made a sharp left turn at a major intersection, barely missing a hit to the corner with her back tires.

"What? Why?"

"It doesn't matter, just do it," Tenten said sternly, in no mood to repeat herself again. For the moment, she would refrain from telling anyone what was going on until after she spoke with Sasuke. It was more than protocol, but common sense as well that she decided to take that route. There was no point to worrying everyone over this matter just yet, even those on her own staff until she herself knew all the details. And with the cover that Tenten had managed to provide at the very last minute, they could all at least keep up the pretenses long enough to empty the Rising Sun of innocent bystanders. "Tell the escorts that we're scheduled to have a performance there. They'll know what to do. I already called ahead and made arrangements with the Event Coordinator. Look for a man named Mr. Matsuki Yamato."

"I don't know. Maybe we should asked Mr. Uchiha abou - "

"Don't question me. Just do it, ok?" she snapped, her grip on the steering wheel tightening out of nervousness and agitation. Already, Tenten could feel the anxiety making quick work of her patience as she sate at a red light a little longer than she was willing to wait. "And if he says anything, tell him I told you to, got it?"

"...Yes, ma'am."

"Good." Just then, the light finally turned green, pulling out a grateful mutter from Tenten.

"Is...something wrong, Tenten?"

At that, she paused a moment to mull things over. As part of the security team, he would be told what was going on eventually. The real question was whether or not now was the time to divulge such classified information just yet. After all, Sasuke had only given her a condensed explanation of the situation. "...No. Nothing's wrong. Just a bad start to the day, that's all."

"You sure?"

"...Yeah. Look, I'll be there soon enough to explain everything, alright? For now, just tell everyone to prepare for the show and get them out quick. The performance is scheduled to start in half an hour."

"Yes, ma'am."

"Out." And with that, she hung up. And not for the last time that day, Tenten gave a heavy sigh as she checked the clock in her car. If things went well, it would only be another ten minutes before she would pull into the hotel parking lot. And from there, only the Fates knew.

It...was a lot of pressure to place on one so young, she would admit to that. Even more so to ask such individuals like Shizune, Sasuke, even Itachi -- because surely Sasuke would think to bring him in to tend to this matter -- to remain calm when their lives were on the line. And yet, there was no doubt in Tenten's mind that they all were holding on and functioning as they were trained to do. As they had learned to do while working in this business.

She only hoped that it would not be too late.
