Mei (9:33:20 PM): I don't know. The InoShikaCo trio could use some lightening up. Shibi too for that matter. I think he's been hanging around his bugs for too long. -sits up a bit- We should get Tsume in on this. Is she on a mission right now?
Kushina (9:34:34 PM): It's hard for Shibi to *not* hang around his bugs to much, seeing as they live INSIDE him...*twitches* Hmm...I think Tsume just got back last night, she should be around...
Mei (9:36:50 PM): -smirks- Then it's settled, we'll go get her as soon as we pick a name. She'd get a kick out of it, especially after a mission. -leans back and idly twirls a kunai on her finger- So who else is there?
Kushina (9:38:55 PM): Ooh...I saw Jiraiya-sensei around earlier...he's always fun to mess with.
Mei (9:39:21 PM): -closes one eye in thought- But a lot more tricky to fool.
Kushina (9:40:01 PM): *snorts* Only if you don't bother to distract him first
Mei (9:40:32 PM): -chuckles- And he's all too easy to distract these days.
Kushina (9:41:11 PM): *nods* Though...that almost makes it like picking on a kid

Kushina (9:43:52 PM): Like who? Minato made me swear to leave his brats alone *rolls her eyes* Not that Kashi-kun is any fun anyway
Mei (9:44:43 PM): Hehe, oh he can be. You just gotta know the right buttons to push. -shakes the hat around a bit to mix up the sheets of paper- But I don't know. You think any of them are up to the challenge of facing our antics?
Kushina (9:46:29 PM): *ponders* Hmm...what about that Shiranui brat? And Namiashi? They're at least chuunin, even if they are still younger than us, it would be a little more fair
Mei (9:48:46 PM): -gives a nod- Add 'em in. Maybe we can toss in some of the medic-nins into the mix, the really snobby ones who hardly get their hands dirty out in the field. It'd certainly keep them on their toes.
Kushina (9:49:45 PM): Definitely...and it's too bad Tsunade-sama isn't around anymore, she was always up for a good prank war
Mei (9:50:48 PM): Yeah well, that's why we gotta give her something to hear about when she gets back. Bragging rights and all~
Kushina (9:51:26 PM): *grins* ok...so...lets draw! *bounces a little from her seat on the floor*
Mei (9:58:16 PM): -jumbles around the slips of paper in the hat a bit more and holds it out to Kushina- Would you like to do the honors?
Kushina (9:59:22 PM): Sure! *reaches in, gropes around for a minute and pulls out a slip...starts cackling when she sees the name*
Mei (9:59:49 PM): -turns to sit up from where she laid on the couch- What? Who did we get?
Kushina (10:00:16 PM): Shibi, bugs and all!
Mei (10:01:20 PM): -snickers- Well I did say he could use some lightening up.
Kushina (10:02:21 PM): Hmmm...now what can we do? We've gotta be careful not to alarm the bugs first...
Mei (10:04:08 PM): Well...you've got some water techniques up your sleeve don't you?
Kushina (10:05:13 PM): plenty, you have something in mind?
Mei (10:06:17 PM): No matter how skilled he is, the bugs would be at a slight disadvantage in the rain. Maybe enough to not even detect us.

Mei (9:04:31 PM): -snorts and chuckles- It was good to see something other than numb indifference from him, that's for sure. And getting to see the color of his eyes for once wasn't so bad either. Purple. Who would've thought?
Kushina (9:06:09 PM): Not that anyone's gonna believe us on that without pictures though. I swear half the village thinks he only has bugs where his eyes should be
Mei (9:08:36 PM): They'd have to believe that we actually pulled something like that on him first before they believe anything else. -flops into a nearby chair-

Kushina (9:17:24 PM): *turns in her chair to drape over the side* of course there is, because we're ninja and the previous wars we've lived through apparently weren't enough through, so we have to keep fighting in them and dying *kicks at the wall with her bare foot* doesn't mean we've gotta stop living though
Mei (9:22:01 PM): -smiles almost fondly- If only we all could have your mindset. Things might not be so bad...
Kushina (9:23:03 PM): *lifts her head to smirk at Mei* and here I thought you all were glad that there's only one of me to deal with
Mei (9:24:41 PM): Hey, I was talking about your mindset concerning this war. I don't think the world could handle a thousand of you running around here
Kushina (9:26:46 PM): Well, lucky for you I can't create that many clones. As for the mindset, I am how I am because it gets me through.

Kushina (9:38:01 PM): *turns more than a little red* Kami, Mei! Not like you have a lot of room to talk...*smiles a bit though* besides, if we do have kids, they'd be Namikaze, not Uzumaki
Mei (9:42:24 PM): -snickers- I never denied that, and at least Shirou and I have the decency not to bring it to the Hokage Tower. And whether they're a Namikaze or an Uzumaki, they'll still have a bit of your blood, and that's enough of a warning to the world.

Mei (9:44:18 PM): -laughs out right- I've no reason to be there other than for missions, and Shirou's more out of place there than I am

It's mostly why we're friends, ne? Besides, didn't you get the memo? -winks and throws the kunai up again- It's always the quiet ones you gotta worry about~
Kushina (10:20:42 PM): True...which reminds me that I should make some more teruterubozu this weekend. I used most of my stash on that last mission. *grins a little evily* it's so much fun making things go boom

Kushina (10:24:49 PM): *tries not to sigh in relief when mei quits tossing the kunai* Yeah. I've got enough for a small supply of them, but he said he'd have what I needed in the next shipment.

Mei (9:24:41 PM): Hey, I was talking about your mindset concerning this war. I don't think the world could handle a thousand of you running around here
Kushina (9:26:46 PM): Well, lucky for you I can't create that many clones. As for the mindset, I am how I am because it gets me through.

Mei (9:42:24 PM): -snickers- I never denied that, and at least Shirou and I have the decency not to bring it to the Hokage Tower. And whether they're a Namikaze or an Uzumaki, they'll still have a bit of your blood, and that's enough of a warning to the world.
Kushina (9:43:28 PM): *grins impishly* you're just jealous you didn't think of the tower first. I gotta say...that's one hell of a desk.
Mei (9:44:18 PM): -laughs out right- I've no reason to be there other than for missions, and Shirou's more out of place there than I am

Mei (9:46:53 PM): -pauses, glancing at Kushina from out the corner of her eye before refocusing on the ceiling again- ...I don't wanna know.
Kushina (9:48:56 PM): *snickers* you brought it up. *goes quiet for a moment, playing with the ends of her hair* I sometimes wonder what they'd be like...

Mei (10:05:57 PM): -giggles, not exactly girlishly, but a giggle nonetheless- You and half the village I think...but then again, Shirou does own a weapons shop so maybe they'll actually still behave themselves after coming back from Aunty Kushina's house~

Mei (10:14:21 PM): -smirks, turning her head towards Kushina while she continued to toss and catch said kunai just to mess with her head- Then don't watch.
Kushina (10:15:53 PM): *does wince now* I can't not...and they think Tsume or I are the crazy ones...*shakes her head a little, still not tearing her eyes away*
Mei (10:17:42 PM): -catches the kunai a centimeter or two away from nicking her skin and just pauses like that for a moment, so smirking smuggly- We all have our quirks. It's mostly why we're friends, ne? Besides, didn't you get the memo? -winks and throws the kunai up again- It's always the quiet ones you gotta worry about~
Kushina (10:20:42 PM): True...which reminds me that I should make some more teruterubozu this weekend. I used most of my stash on that last mission. *grins a little evily* it's so much fun making things go boom
Mei (10:22:33 PM): -laughs- And sometimes you have to worry about the noisy ones too~ -settles for twirling the kunai around her fingers so as not to give Kushina a heart attack- You talk to Shirou about the needed ingredients yet?
Kushina (10:24:49 PM): *tries not to sigh in relief when mei quits tossing the kunai* Yeah. I've got enough for a small supply of them, but he said he'd have what I needed in the next shipment.
Mei (10:27:29 PM): -refrains from chuckling at the small flash of relief in Kushina's eyes and just evens out her expression- Good...I'll remind him about it when it comes in...
Kushina (10:30:52 PM): speaking of Shirou-nii...where is he today? I expected him to come in giving me crap for raiding his fridge when I've got my own supply two floors up
Mei (10:31:49 PM): Dunno, actually. Haven't seen him since this morning... I think he said he had a delivery to make in the next village...
Kushina (10:42:06 PM): *stomach growls rather loudly* we should go over to ichiraku, I'm starving
Mei (10:42:58 PM): Ramen again? -shifts around in the chair a bit- I swear, you eat any more and you're gonna have miso for blood...
Kushina (10:44:34 PM): there is nothing wrong with ramen, it's wonderful! And it's not like I don't burn through it all anyway...you have something else in mind? We don't have to go to ichiraku *looks like she'd be disappointed if they didn't though*
Mei (10:46:19 PM): -pouts, knows Kushina wants Ichiraku more than anything- ..Maybe I can see if they can make me something else besides ramen...
Kushina (10:48:25 PM): *beams* My treat then, let's go! *jumps up from her chair and pulls Mei up out of hers before she has a chance to on her own*
Mei (10:49:31 PM): Gah! -nearly stumbles out of the chair, having little time to gain her footing- Geeze, you're like a kid on Christmas morning...
Kushina (10:52:26 PM): mmm, ramen in winter...*gets a happy grin and starts heading back towards the door, slipping quickly into her shoes* it's even better then, coming in from the cold
Mei (10:53:19 PM): -can't help but shake her head, slipping on her shoes and grabbing the keys to lock things up- What am I going to do with you?
Kushina (10:54:13 PM): *beams* keep putting up with me cuz you love me like the sister you never got?
Mei (10:55:34 PM): -sighs as if tortured and exasperated by that thought- If I must~ -ushers her out and locks the door before heading towards their destination, already knowing the way from their many trips to Ichiraku-
