Wounds will heal
Scars will fade
But my message lingers

In the body, mind
Deep within the very soul
Clinging to their faiths

Through the doubts
The indomitable insecurities
I only remain a memory
But remembered I will be

I live in him, her, them
And how I die for you

Through flames or blade
I bleed for you
Mortally with tears I cry
For you
Will you cry for me too?

Or will you forget and move on
Relinquishing my sacrifice?
You who walk the earth
So utterly lost

Won’t you let me guide you?
Or will I die in vain?
